Courchevel: a different way of getting to discover the mountains

It all starts at Saint Bon, the beginning of the resort. Here there are no mechanical ski lifts, instead a shuttle service passes by regularly to take you to the heart of the skiable area. The return descent back to the village, on the other hand, can be achieved by skiing down a red ski slope.

On the second level you can find Courchevel 1300, 1550 and 1650 – small, traditional mountain villages that mix famous Olympic ski jumps, resplendent pine forests and a skiable area which slaloms between all the resort’s villages. These three villages are ideal for families as they offer a multitude of winter activities as well as wellness treatments for parents.

Finally, on the third and last level,Chourchevel 1850, renowned for its luxury establishments, will meet even the most refined needs with its 5 star hotels and excellent facilities.

Skiing for every level

Ski-lovers will not be disappointed at Courchevel. In fact, the resort offers a skiing area of more than 150 kilometres, including 27 green, 44 blue, 38 red and, for the most daring, 10 black slopes. Courchevel also provides you with the possibility of night skiing; every Wednesday between 6pm and 8pm you can enjoy the ski area under the stars with music on the Verdons and Family Park slopes.

The resort also offers recreational themed routes, dedicated to novices and more experienced skiers alike. A ZEN zone (Zone for the Evolution of Novices) and snowcross slopes are also available to measure your performance among friends.

Finally, Courchevel is equipped with Nordic ski slopes – 55 kilometres of slopes that lead you into the heart of the area’s preserved forest.
